Nothing is wasted here

In our closed cycle, we turn the wood shavings and sawdust
generated into wood pellets and briquettes.

Pellets with optimal pressing are a highly efficient, environmentally-friendly biofuel, which heats industrial facilities, power stations, municipal heating plants, businesses and private households. In this respect we pay attention to the quality and purity of the pellets during the production process and storage. Our pellets are regularly tested and are ENplus A1 certified.

Our wood briquettes are the alternative to conventional firewood. They burn almost without any smoke and provide cosy heat. Wood briquettes are low in harmful substances and low on emissions. Ladenburger Holzbriketts is subject to regular certification in accordance with EN ISO 17225-3.

Our bark mulch gives trees and plants nutrients for healthy and sustainable growth.

We use modern biomass power stations to convert other bark into CO2-neutral heat. We use this heat to support the heating systems in our plants and supply heat to our drying facilities on site, which are used to bring our timber to the optimal wood moisture for subsequent processing.

The wood cycle is thus closed by complete utilisation of our building material. The pure wood left over is turned into fuel.

Our sustainable management of the precious material, wood, thereby makes an effective contribution to climate protection.

Sawmill by-products
as a raw material for fuel production

During the industrial processing of wood, a large amount of sawdust, wood shavings and wood chips are produced. There is enormous potential in these by-products. Being ecological, free of harmful substances and unfermented, they are used as raw materials in processing industries or processed as fuels.
